Philosophy
The St. Stephen's Nursery School offers each child a place to
develop emotionally, socially, intellectually and physically in a setting designed to
provide stimulation, opportunities for mastery, acceptance of each child' s developmental
level and gentle encouragement to move forward. Our goal is to help children gain a good
self image and the confidence to meet their ever expanding world. At the same time, St.
Stephen's Nursery School gives parents the opportunity to be involved in their child's
first school experience through membership in the school board of directors, visiting in
or volunteering as an aide in the classroom, and attending parenting and other programs of
interest . |
